What If My Book Doesn't Sell?

"What happens if my book doesn't sell?" This is a great question, because previously it was a disaster. Back in the day, if you went to a traditional publishing house, you put up to six figures into teams, ghostwriters, the big initial marketing campaign, you put on this big book launch, maybe you do an event, you put all this money into ads trying to share this book to the world, and the book flops.

It's a disaster because you've wasted a lot of money, but you've wasted 18 months of your time in getting this book live. The way that we run our book funnels and do books is in a very validation-first approach. So now with the power of AI, we've compressed the time it takes to test and validate an idea. So we can go through and get a rough validation book and funnel live in seven to 14 days max.

It can be done even quicker. And then as we get validation from the market, then we can begin to continually work on it and make it better till it's at a standard that we're super inspired by. So in our system, there is no failure. It's just how many iterations do I need to do to find that perfect segment of the market that matches my message? And generally, our clients find that first time, but we've got a system that is okay if we need to do it two or three times without burning three years of time.

We've had clients launch three books inside of 14 days, see which one performed best, and then put more attention to that one singular book in order to build the business from that. And so to iterate, there is no failure. It's just repetition. And with our system now, we've been able to really shorten the time of those repetitions to essentially nothing.
