So you may think that I just sort of sound like another guru, and that's a fair point. There's a world of gurus and everyone's selling, and I guess I've got a love of gurus because they've had just the biggest impact on my life of all the great change that I've had in my life come from great investments in outstanding individuals. But I've also invested money in people that I wouldn't put money into again.
And so the way that I sort of, as a leader and as somebody who's creating a product that we're selling at scale, is the most important part of authenticity for me is to do the thing that I'm teaching. And that's how I've always picked mentors and been able to pick the great mentors. And when I've picked bad mentors, that was the reason, because they weren't living what they were teaching.
And so for me, we're selling a book selling system. I do not have social media. All of my clients only come through this one book into this one offer. Where most gurus are wrong is they'll be living something and teaching something completely different. They'll be teaching webinars, but they're putting out 10 Instagram reels a day, or they're teaching DM setting, but they've got a funnel with paid ads running.
And so it's like, why are you teaching this if you're living like this way? So the way I judge a guru is by congruency between what they teach and how they live. And for me, that's the most important part of what it means to be authentic in this space. And it's exactly what I'm living.
